Chapter Fourteen

Helen looked down at a sleeping Katie and smiled. My God, she is so beautiful. What she does to me is amazing. She bent and lightly kissed her lover’s lips. “Time to wake up, sleepyhead.”

Katie smiled and stretched like a cat before she opened her eyes. “I can get used to waking up beside you.” Her hand slipped around Helen’s neck, pulled her close, and kissed her. “And this.”

“Hmm, me too.”

“What time is it?”

“Eleven.”

“Eleven? I don’t remember ever sleeping this late in my life.”

“We were up most of the night doing this,” Helen squeezed a nipple, “and this,” she pulled the hardened nipple into her mouth, “and this,” she ran her finger through the folds of liquid velvet. “On multiple occasions throughout the night.”

Katie giggled. “That we did.” She held up a finger. “Hold that thought for a minute while I go to the bathroom.”

Helen stretched out on the bed and waited for Katie’s return.

“We need to call a locksmith and we did plan on shopping today,” Katie said from the bathroom. “Want to share a shower with me?”

“There’s no one else I’d rather share a shower with.” Helen shook her head. “Actually, I’ve never shared a shower with anyone. You will be my first.”

“You are my first in so many ways, babe.” Katie crooked her finger. “Come to me and let’s make love again for the first time.”

Helen wasted no time in going to the bathroom. She watched as Katie turned on the water, her eyes raking over the naked body she couldn’t seem to get enough of. “I hope this is the first of many.”

Katie stepped into the tub and held out her hand. “Count on it.”

“You’ve got to be kidding.” Helen laughed. “I can’t wear this.” She looked in the mirror at the Daisy Dukes and the short-sleeved shirt. “I look like a teenager.”

“Hmm. That you do.” Katie let her eyes roam Helen’s body. “No one would recognize you in that outfit. But, I must say I like how sexy you look in it.”

“I will wear this at home only for you.”

“Deal.” Katie grinned. “Along with the flip-flops?”

“No flip-flops. The Toms I’ll wear but not those things.”

“I’ll paint your toenails red.” Katie wiggled her eyebrows. “You’ll look really sexy in that outfit with your flip-flops as you do a striptease for me,” Katie whispered.

“Okay, but I’ll only wear them for you.”

Katie rubbed her hand through Helen’s hair. “I like your new haircut. Do you like it?”

“It will take some getting used to. I can’t recall my hair ever being this short.”

“You look sexy.” Katie started to walk out of the changing room and took one last look at Helen. “Next we’re getting you some of those skinny jeans.”

Helen rolled her eyes. “Don’t make me regret moving to weird Austin.”

“Oh, I won’t. After the next store I’ll take you to one of my favorite restaurants.”

“Well, in that case, I will reserve judgment until I see what kind of food you are serving me.”

Katie gave Helen a quick kiss.
